We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website together with our content and services. The legal bases are in particular:

• Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — compliance with a legal obligation
• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest, for example in the secure operation of the site

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external provider: Contabo GmbH, Welfenstrasse 22 81541 Munich, Germany. The provider processes data collected through the website on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Server log files

When you access this website, information transmitted by your browser is recorded automatically: the page requested, date and time of access, volume of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and IP address. This data serves technical provision, error analysis and defence against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Cookies

This website uses cookies only where they are technically necessary for operation: a cookie storing the selected language, and session cookies for logging into the members area. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies.

6. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are served locally from our own server. No connection is made to third-party servers, and in particular your IP address is not transmitted to Google.

7. Contacting us

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, the data you provide is stored in order to process your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

8. Members area

We create user accounts for the protected members area. We process the user name, email address, an encrypted password and the time of the last login. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in connection with the membership relationship. The account is deleted once membership ends, unless retention obligations apply.

9. Linked third-party content

Some pages link to documents and reports hosted by external providers. When you follow such a link, your data is transmitted to that provider, whose processing is outside our control. The privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

10. Your rights

You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), as well as the right to withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). An informal message to info@ifd-roof.com is sufficient.
